The Compose feature is your central hub for creating X content. It provides a powerful editor with AI assistance to help you craft engaging tweets and threads.

Basic Features

  • Rich text editing - Format your content with ease
  • Character counter - Stay within X's character limits
  • Media attachments - Add images, GIFs, and videos
  • Thread support - Create multi-tweet threads
  • Preview mode - See how your post will look before publishing

Writing Your Tweet

  1. Click Compose in the sidebar
  2. Start typing in the editor
  3. The character counter shows remaining characters
  4. Add media by clicking the image icon

AI Assistant

Generating Content

Click the AI sparkle icon to access AI features:

  • Generate ideas - Get tweet suggestions based on a topic
  • Improve content - Enhance your existing text
  • Change tone - Make content more professional, casual, or engaging
  • Expand - Turn a short idea into a full tweet or thread

Using AI Prompts

You can give the AI specific instructions:

  • "Make this more engaging"
  • "Add relevant hashtags"
  • "Create a thread from this idea"
  • "Write in a professional tone"

Creating Threads

To create a multi-tweet thread:

  1. Write your first tweet
  2. Click the Add Tweet button
  3. Continue adding tweets to build your thread
  4. Rearrange tweets by dragging them
  5. Preview the entire thread before posting

Adding Media

Supported Formats

  • Images: JPG, PNG, GIF (up to 5MB)
  • Videos: MP4 (up to 512MB, 2:20 duration)
  • GIFs: Animated GIF format

Media Tips

  • Use high-quality images for better engagement
  • Include alt text for accessibility
  • Preview media on different devices

Drafts

Auto-Save

Your work is automatically saved as you type. Never lose your content.

Managing Drafts

  • Drafts appear in your drafts list
  • Click a draft to continue editing
  • Delete drafts you no longer need
  • Organize drafts with labels

Publishing Options

Post Now

Click Post Now to publish immediately to X.

Schedule

Click Schedule to choose a future time:

  1. Select the date from the calendar
  2. Choose a time or select from your saved time slots
  3. Confirm your schedule

Save as Draft

Save your work to finish later without publishing.
